Forest Keep (2025)

Sci-fi augmented reality audio story located at Rochester Castle.

Forest Keep is a prototype futuristic story at Rochester Castle Gardens in augmented reality, where audiences choose the outcome.

Produced by Electric Medway, the experience been developed by John Whall and Adam Glen, with local young people helping to co-design the characters, script and 3D models.

Contains six story hotspots and two alternative endings were created by Kevin Grist. An Electric Medway project, Co-created with young people, the script was developed by Adam Glen, the augmented reality content by John Whall. Debuted at Electric Medway Festival to an audience of play testers in October 2025, featuring live performers from Square Pegs Arts.

The project was produced by Electric Medway, with support from Arts Council England, Medway Council, Canterbury Christ Church University, Colyer Fergusson Charitable Trust, Henry Smith Foundation.
